I had a delightful stay at Hotel Palagi. The location couldn't be better, just a quick 5-minute walk from the train station. I loved the view over the main square from my Double Room. The rooftop terrace was a hidden gem, perfect for unwinding with a drink at sunset. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was exceptional, and the room itself was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was particularly impressive with two showerheads and a double sink. Breakfast featured a solid selection, including gluten-free options that catered well to my dietary needs. On the downside, I encountered a few minor inconveniences. The refrigerator in the room wasn't working initially, but staff promptly replaced it. The Wi-Fi connection was a bit sluggish at times but consistently dependable. While I didn't have any major complaints, I noticed the air conditioning could have been more stable. Overall, a very enjoyable stay with an attentive staff who made me feel welcome!

The room felt dark with closed shutters, making it less inviting. The sink was problematic, splashing water everywhere, and the awkwardly positioned shower head led to more water on the floor than I'd like.

However, the room's older decor posed some usability challenges, and while the refrigerator was replaced quickly, it initially didn’t work. Lastly, the climb to the room was a bit daunting, which might be a consideration for some guests.

I had a fantastic family stay, with the hotel being super clean and welcoming. The spacious room was perfect for our needs, and we were just a short walk from the train station and vibrant local eateries. Breakfast was a highlight, especially with a great variety of homemade cakes. One thing to note is that Room 38 had quite a few stairs to climb, so be ready for a little exercise!

We had an unforgettable family stay, especially enjoying the waterpark di Cecina e Follonica. The team was always smiling and helped us choose great local places to eat. Just a quick stroll from the hotel brought us to fabulous gelato and stunning beach spots.

My wife says that getting to our room involved quite a few stairs, which can be tough with kids.
